Dyslexic T-Shirt Empathy

One of our great SUPERPOWERS is increased empathy. Here are 2 explanations why. The first is that as someone who has struggled develops empathy for others that are also struggling. The second one which is more relevant to the phrase "Dyslexic's have Strong People Reading Skills" comes from our childhood where we struggle to communicate with our family. As a child, our visual brain aided us on understanding many things and solving problems but our trouble with words made it difficult for us to communicate effectively what we understood. Early on we learn to pay attention to people's visual ques and non verbal communication in order to determine if they understood what we were trying to communicate. Up until the middle of second grade, teachers did not believe that I could read and that here could be serious learning issues with me, but I developed a bit and was moved out of the slow group of readers, and yes I read people like they are an open book.
