EADWEARD MUYBRIDGE:Elephant Walking Fleecy Blanket

EADWEARD MUYBRIDGE: The images we use to create our products are of the highest quality. Many, many hours of work have gone into editing and preparing each image to ensure that the end result is as clean and crisp as possible without compromising the original. Expatriate Englishman Eadweard Muybridge (1830–1904) was a brilliant and eccentric photographer. He gained worldwide fame photographing animal and human movement imperceptible to the human eye. His photography of moving animals captured movement in a way that had never been done before. His work was used by both scientists and artists. He developed a miraculous process for capturing movement on film, laying the ground work for the motion picture industry. Muybridge used photography to prove that there was a moment in a horse’s gallop when all four hooves were off the ground at once. He spent much of his later career at the University of Pennsylvania, producing thousands of images that capture progressive movements within fractions of a second. He also helped establish the legal concept of the crime of passion in the state of California’s laws, when he was acquitted of murdering his wife’s lover, Major Harry Larkyns, in 1874. Eadweard Muybridge thought of himself primarily as an artist, although he encouraged the aura of scientific investigation that surrounded his university work which was published in 1887 as Animal Locomotion.

Love my new blanket, super soft, and more importantly, it keeps me warm just like my cat used to, and we can keep snuggling on the sofa forever :).

This product I bought for my sister and when I seen it I was so upset that I did not buy my self one. It's beautiful ,the quality the texture and the images all were perfect. Great. I even used some old photos that I had to find from my family websites and they still came out great.

The product is so soft and I would recommend to you to purchase. I myself have ordered close to 20 and am giving as gifts. Because my pictures are not the right resolution for the larger size they are a little blurry but the overall results are great.
