Earth Day 50 Year Anniversary 2020 Lapel Pin

Earth Day is observed every April 22 in support of preserving our biosphere, the environment of the planet Earth. Beginning with an environmental teach-in in 1970, Earth Day has grown to include events in more than 193 countries worldwide. With global warming as an existential threat to humanity, every day needs to become Earth Day. Among the many issues to address include climate change, plastic pollution of the oceans, deforestation, and a mass extinction of species that may already be in progress. April 22, 2020 marks the 50 year anniversary of the first Earth Day.
