The stark contrast between the sterile greys of the moonscape and the vibrant blue marble of Earth ignites a pang of foreignness within the moon. Countless nights it had witnessed Earth dominate the sky, a constant companion. Yet, in this image, Earth seems adrift, a tiny oasis in the endless black, and the moon, for the first time, feels utterly alone.
