The quality of drinkable water around the planet has severely dimished due to lowered water-levels thanks to drought, bad farming practices, climate-change and so on. The addition to our once pristine water-ways of pollutants and toxins that should never have been introduced there in the first place, has also damaged our rivers, lakes and streams across the planet. Over-usage by boating traffic and tourism plus unwise logging practices etc. have all contributed to diminished sources of useable water. Even our so-called bottled waters at the refill stations in our local supermarkets are not as most might suppose, from pristine water-springs, but are usually only filled with locally filtered tap-water (unless otherwise stated and even then, is it the Truth?). More water-safety advisories are being issued globally than at any other time, due to contaminants like e. Coli, mercury and lead finding their way into our drinking-water supplies. We all need to change our thinking and make the decision to stop wasting what water we do have and to ensure we aren't polluting the few remaining sources that are still viable today. 25% of royalties from each sale of this shirt, (top or hoodie) is donated directly to the great David Suzuki Foundation in Vancouver, Canada.
