【Yatsufushi (?) bamboo inside facing tai】Tai crest. The crest of Nagata Shrine in Tottori City. The difference from version A is that upon closer inspection of the design published in 'Shinmon' by Niwa Kaji, it appears that the mouths of the tai are in a 'ah-un' formation. Therefore, the tai have been redrawn in 'ah-un' formation, and some minor adjustments have been made to version A (created on 2013/5/23). Additionally, the kanji for 'facing' has been changed from 'mukaitai' to 'taiti', although the reading remains the same. The reading for 'eight-section' is unknown. / Nagata Shrine previously used a butterfly crest, but now uses 'eight-section bamboo inside facing tai' for celebratory occasions. Fish crests are truly rare. According to the shrine's legend, on the eve of the festival day, there would always be two tai offered on a bamboo stand, although it was unclear who had offered them.
