About This Design
El Santo Nino de Atocha Card
Santo Nino had great compassion for those imprisoned, represented by his own feet being shackled. This Holy child of Atocha (Spain) carried a basket of bread which was never emptied and a gourd which remained full of water, no matter the great numbers of prisoners to whom he brought food and drink. The chair symbolizes His need for rest during His never-ending errands of mercy. New Mexicans say that El Santo Nino started each day with a new pair of shoes which were worn out by the text morning. Sometimes the devout bring Him a new pair of little shoes and place them at His shrine.

I purchased two sets of my own cards for a facebook giveaway.
They were great quality and the winners of the giveaway were very pleased with them, saying they did not want to send them out but keep them for their own. .
