Element Earth T-Shirt

This print shows the process of how primary rock wears down to cliff, stones, sand and mud to finally become primary rock again. Chi is the first of the six elements. Earth is represented by the hard, solid objects of the world. A common example of chi is stone, as stones are very resitant to movement or change. So is anything which is influenced by chi. In the body, bones, muscles and tissues represent Chi. Emotionally, the Earth element is above all associated with stubbornness, stability, physicality and gravity. In the mind, it is confidence; emotionally it is a desire to have things remain as they are - a resistance to change. When under the influence of the chi mood, we are aware of our own physicality and sureness of action. Every element has its own primary color, and yellow is the color of Chi. It is the lowest of the six elements, and hence the least powerful. In the Five Ring Pagoda, the Earth ring is cube shaped.
