Elgin Illinois 1870 Plat Map Fox River Downtown Magnet

The inspiration for this magnet was an old plat map dated 1870. A great magnet and conversation starter for Elgin historians as you can see original landowners just after the civil war. Of course this is only a partial of the full size map but we chose the part of the map with downtown Elgin in view. This is one for those that enjoy the antique weathered look. This map had some age yellowing and age wear. We added the color for effect. You too can choose any color or go back to the original sepia tone if you desire. Enjoy.
