Elgin Illinois 1890's Sherman Hospital Building Mug
This is a high dpi scan of an original glass negative of Sherman Hospital circa 1890's. The hospital opened it's doors on July 7, 1988 in a house donated by Henry Sherman. 30 Women from the Women's Club made it their goal to start a hospital in the rapidly growing town of Elgin. This two story house was on Center Street in Elgin Illinois.
