It depicts a Native American man hanging limp as his horse comes to the edge of the Pacific Ocean. The statue is a commentary on the damage Euro-American settlement inflicted upon Native Americans. The main figure embodies the suffering and exhaustion of people driven from their native lands.

If you expecting an actual gold metal background, it's not. It looks like paper or at the very best it's some sort of plastic. It's cheap looking. I'm too embarrassed to give this as a gift. The picture I took makes it look better than it is. I don't think this will wear well either. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm very disappointed. .
