Fight back nonviolently against the mainstream society that hurts so many in the minority. Let anyone who pays attention subtly know that current expectations are unacceptable and hurt everyone, especially women & those who are queer. "Why are they wearing a ring that says 'secretly enraged'? Is this supposed to sound like 'secretly engaged'? Are they hinting that marriage makes them angry, but it's so expected that any opposition is met with hatred so they feel like they have to keep their feelings secret?" they might wonder. Spot on.
