Fabric washable no sew lavender photo frame crafts
This fabric has 2 sizes of pattern panels for making washable, NO SEW, dark gray lavender photo frame crafts, both sizes for photo size 5x7" 10 panel patterns per frame. 2 panels for the front with a picture window - front frame front border & 2nd inside frame front border (FFB & 2nd Inside FFB) 2 panels for the middle panel, with the 2nd inside FFB attached on one side with ribbon thread through the holes on it and the 2 FM or frame middle panels - this makes the pocket for the photo and it's photo sleeve which is a clear, acid free sheet protector page cut to the size of a photo, and the 2 easel back or EB panels, that back facing out panel gets the the strut leg pocket, made of 4 panels shown. Both easel back and strut leg pockets have removable easel back and strut leg mat board or cardboard boards, EB is 7x9" and 6x8" for easel back boards, and the strut leg board patterns are on the fabric What you need: ribbon - 1/8" wide by 5 feet long for each frame - thread through the holes, connecting the 2nd inside FFB and both FM, to make the photo pocket 1 1/2" wide by 9" long for each frame - to connect the bottom right of the strut leg pocket to the corner between the FM and EB panels Thermoweb Heat n Bond Ultrahold 5 yard roll 17" wide at Michaels, $8.99, use 50% or 40% coupon - will use almost 2/3 of the roll, can buy by the yard at the cutting table or in notions at JoAnn Fabrics or joann.com or Thermowebonline.com - this is an iron on, paper back, fabric adhesive, that gets ironed to the back of the fabric panel patterns - Ultrahold is acid free! It keeps the frame's shape, structure, keeps edges and corners crisp and allows for the frame to stand on a table or shelf acid free clear sheet protector pages, 50 pages pack at Target, Walgreens, Walmart, under $5 - 1 for the making the 2 photo sleeves, the rest for tracing over the fabric panel patterns with a Sharpie marker, flipped over to their backs, and transferred to the paper side of the Ultrahold - use a ruler and pen to clean up your lines on the Ultrahold - IMPORTANT - make sure that you cut away the center, between the 2 lines on each of the 2 sets of 4 strut leg panels of Ultrahold, BECAUSE that area between those lines allows for the strut leg pocket to BEND out! You don't have to cut out this area on the fabric strut panels, JUST the Ultrahold patterns. Keep those cut away slices though, because you will use them to figure out, align, and place your other 2 pieces, top and bottom straight pins - push through from the front to the back, at the corners of the SEAM ALLOWANCES, not the main panels, but the SEAM ALLOWANCES (those are the lighter thick line around the panels, that get folder under, and ironed down ) and iron your Ultrahold patterns to the back, between those pins - straight pins can also help keep your finished panels aligned, when joining them, with hot glue iron ruler, pencil or pen low temp hot glue gun 15-20 sticks of hot glue Follow the directions / instructions with further help, on the tutorial step by step blog at http://fabricatedframes.blogspot.com & the video tutorial at http://youtube.com/user/fabricatedframesCom The color of the frames will be a darker, muted, grayed lavender color, hex code #534358 specifically washable, NO SEW, fabric photo frame / picture frame created / invented by Kristie Hubler, owner of fabricatedframes.com - more fabric and photo frame craft project patterns at http://zazzle.com/fabricatedframes/fabric Thank you! Great fabric. So easy to sew. Nice representation of the BLM movement. I highly recommend and will purchase more. Great quality. Nice print. I haven't washed it yet so I hope the colors hold up & don't fade to much.

I helped my 8 year old granddaughter cut and sew this fire truck for her toddler brother. It was a very easy first sewing project for her. Our 6 year old granddaughter also made one with a little more assistance with cutting. Cute! Our 8 year old did this herself. An adult could finish a little more professional but this is the creation of an 8 year old!
