Faces Of Goodbye – Restrained Desire Azure

Don't go -- Restrained Desire is one of multiple 'Faces of Don't go' poems/writings that focuses on those times when one chooses to conceal feelings that might result in detouring departure plans of someone cherished. The series of Faces of Don’t Go products is a subset of the series, Faces Of Goodbye which focuses on the various circumstances when “Goodbye” is necessary. The companion poem, “Sealed For Eternity” speaks to the finality of some Goodbyes. This, “Restrained Desire” is not part of any stories I currently have on my writing workbench, but reminds that situations that start out as platonic friendship can become more as beauty inside of friends becomes more and more attractive as association can sometimes reveal. Sometimes just reading such a poem together can act as a pilot light.
