The historic Fairbanks House, located in Dedham, Mass. This original art was drawn by a descendant of the builder of the house, built by Puritan settler Jonathan Fairbanks, ca. 1636, making it the oldest surviving timber-frame house in North America, which has been verified by dendrochronology testing. This original, pencil drawing of the house was made by Debbie Barry, a descendant of the original builder, before she lost her sight. The artist became legally blind in 2014, and now draws and paints from memory and imagination. The mug is a charming way to start your day, or to stay awake, with coffee, tea, or another beverage. This is a delightful gift for the special person in your life. It is a great gift for any occasion. Don't forget birthdays, graduations, back to school, retirement, Hanukkah, and Christmas!
