Featuring our possible ancestor, Emperor Lucius Septimius Severus Pertinax (145 - 211), and his family by his second wife, Julia Domna. Their son, Caracalla murdered his brother, Geta, and erased his image from this tonda (c. 199 Antikensammlung Berlin). Records are unclear, but we may be descended from Septimius Severus and his first wife, Paccia Marciana, a woman from Leptis Magna (Libya), where he came from. If accurate, he would be JSB Roane's 56th ggf.
