When you order invitations from us, we’ll include appropriate-sized white envelopes based on the size of the invitations of your purchase. However, if you don’t want or already have envelopes and want to just receive the invitations, you can opt out of receiving the envelopes.

You can also order envelopes with different designs instead of plain white envelopes if you want your envelopes to have special designs.

The best time to send out invitations is typically 2-3 months before the event for small or medium sized events. For example, you’d want to send out your holiday party invitations 2-3 months ahead of time. You’ll want to order your invitations about 2 weeks before you send them out, so the best time to order your invitations from us is about 2.5-3.5 months ahead of time. This allows your guests to plan accordingly and helps to maximize the chance that a guest can come.

For large events like weddings, you’ll want to give your invitees more notice than for standard events. Order your wedding invitations and envelopes about 4.5-6.5 months in advance to send your invitations 4-6 months before the special day.

For our invitations, you can print on both the front and back whether it’s for a design by one of our creators that already exists or a completely new design you create or customize.

You can edit the design on the back through our Design Tool and selecting "Layers." By customizing the back of your Fifty 50th Wedding Anniversary Photo Invitation, you can have a more complete invitation and present more information to your potential guests, but don’t worry - you don’t have to add a design to the back if you prefer to just have a design in the front.

Absolutely! You can make your own design from a completely blank template by following these steps:

• Step 1: Navigate to our "Personalized Custom Invitations & Announcement" page
• Step 2: Find the product you want to add a design to and click on it to get to a page that features that product
• Step 3: Select "Customize This Design"
• Step 4: You’ll then enter our design too, which you can use to add text, images, and more to completely customize your design

We currently carry a number of paper options our customers can choose from. To look at our current options, scroll up on this page (or go near the top of any invitation product page), look on the right-hand side, and click on "Compare Papers".

You’ll see a pop-up that will list the different paper types we have along with information for each such as an image, description, thickness, and weight to help you decide on one. While these are all great options, the Signature Matte is our most popular paper option.

When in doubt, you can’t go wrong with our 18 pt Matte paper. It has a standard uncoated matte finish and a natural feel to it to empower any design and color printed on this paper to pop making it the perfect paper type for invitations.
