FINNISH-ed Lapphund T-Shirt

This papercut-inspired design was created with a wonderful 3D effect to add the illusion of texture and depth. The printing is flat but it looks as though it could float off the page. My unique process involves multi-media techniques including paper cutting and digital manipulation. I fell in love with the papercut artform while traveling in Vietnam a number of years ago. There were artists on the street corners making cut paper pop up cards that were absolutely charming. I brought home dozens of them!!
