The beautiful fish engraving is from "The Natural History of Carolina, Florida and the Bahama Islands", London, 1754 edition. The vintage fish engraving is titled "Perca rubra & C". The red perch is a common name of fish that refers to several species of fish. The Percua is actually the common Perch, a wonderful little game fish, generally living in fresh water.
