Flag of Rhode Island (US State) Dart Board

This design features the state flag of Rhode Island, which is a state in the New England region of the United States. The state takes its short name from Rhode Island (known also as Aquidneck Island); however, most of the state is located on the mainland. The state has land borders with Connecticut to the west, Massachusetts to the north and east, and the Atlantic Ocean to the south via Rhode Island Sound and Block Island Sound; it also shares a small maritime border with New York. Providence is the state capital and most populous city in Rhode Island. The official nickname of Rhode Island is the "Ocean State"; it is also sometimes known as "Little Rhody". The official motto of Rhode Island is "Hope". The flag of the state of Rhode Island consists of a gold anchor surrounded by thirteen gold stars (representing the original 13 colonies); a blue ribbon below the anchor bears the state's motto in gold.
