The Otter, originally intended to be known as the King Beaver, was conceived as a larger, more capable follow on to highly successful Beaver. The Beaver referred to by de Havilland as a “half-ton truck;” the Otter would be the “one-ton truck.” The Otter was used by the militaries of many countries and is also popular in with skydivers; it can be found in many drop zones throughout the world.

The luggage itself is awesome. So much utility for a carry-on bag. Lots of zippered pouch compartments to keep everything from getting everywhere. And it has a TSA approved lock and a dust cover! Love it. The printing is terrific. Love the way it wraps around the top and bottom. So happy the bumpers, wheels and handle color matches the design perfectly. She's gorgeous.
