A de Havilland Canada DH3-C Otter, sporting the logo of mythical Flying Moose Aviation of Talkeetna, in flight somewhere over Alaska. Text reading, "FLYING MOOSE AVIATION" and "TALKEETNA, ALASKA" also appears. The Otter, originally intended to be known as the King Beaver, was conceived as a larger, more capable follow on to highly successful Beaver. The Beaver referred to by de Havilland as a “half-ton truck;” the Otter would be the “one-ton truck.” The Otter was used by the militaries of many countries and is also popular in with skydivers; it can be found in many drop zones throughout the world. My 11 yo wore adult XL (5’7” 165#). The 8yo is small framed. She wore adult small and tied it in the back. Dark haired male wore adult large and 5’9”, 110# female wore adult medium . Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
