Flying Moose Aviation de Havilland DH3-C Otter Zippo Lighter
A de Havilland Canada DH3-C Otter, sporting the logo of mythical Flying Moose Aviation of Talkeetna, in flight somewhere over Alaska on an overcast day. Customizable text reading "Alaska" also appears. The Otter, originally intended to be known as the King Beaver, was conceived as a larger, more capable follow on to highly successful Beaver. The Beaver referred to by de Havilland as a “half-ton truck;” the Otter would be the “one-ton truck.” The Otter was used by the military forces of many countries and is also popular in with skydivers; it can be found in many drop zones throughout the world. This product could be given for many occasions. I chose to give it to my husband for our 5th wedding anniversary. "Wood" is the traditional gift for the 5th wedding anniversary so the wood grain option was perfect. I didn't realize until close to the end that there was an option to choose the lighter finish. I chose matte black & so glad I noticed there was a choice. It wouldn't have been as great with another finish.
Great product & it arrived early! It's so hard to know how something like this is going to turn out. Designing was user friendly & pretty easy.
