Forget-me-not (Myosotis sylvatica) Botanical Illustration 1885. The name myosotis (ancient Greek for 'mouse's ear') refers to the foliage which it is thought to resemble. This woodland plant is native to Europe. Forget-me-nots are pollinated by solitary bees and bee flies. Bees are attracted to the deep blue flowers of forget-me-nots, a color which generally produces more nectar. Great for decoupage.
