Fortune Favors The Bold T-Shirt

Another street scene from Pompeii, the ancient Roman City destroyed by Vesuvius in AD79. This city has given the modern world a peek into the ancient. It’s both an archaelogical treasure and a tourist destination in the Napoli region of Italy. Ironically, there are more people living at the foot of that same still active Volcano than when Pompeii was buried. The latin quote translates to “Fortune Favors the bold” and is reportedly the last words of Pliny The Elder before leaving the docks of Pompeii to rescue people from the eruption. Please note, the text on the back can be removed or changed to suit your choice - it currently is the English translation of the Latin Phrase on the front.

The shirt is well-made; the material is soft and not too thin. The sleeves are just right. I ordered a size larger just in case and it fits as expected for a shirt that is one-size too big. Considering it will probably shrink the more it's washed, I don't mind it. The print of my job's logo looks great. I haven't noticed any bleeding or imperfections.
