About This Design

Frederic Remington's The Night Herder (circa 1908) Stationery

Frederic Remington's The Night Herder (circa 1908) Stationery

A classic artwork that has passed into the public domain and makes wonderful gifts and other products. A man seated on his horse, watching the herd off in the darkness. There is very little detail in this image, which contrasts it with much of his work. Remington was the foremost illustrator, painter, and sculptor of the American West at the close of the frontier era, at the end of the 19th century. His sculptures of cowboys are iconic, and his painting of cowboys, Indians, soldiers and frontiersmen were highly popular during his lifetime and have only become more so in the century since. All of our products are made with large scale images that have been carefully edited to provide the best resolution, color and detail possible.

Stationery Paper, Size: 5.5" x 8.5", Paper: Thin Matte Paper, Envelopes: None
The stationery is beautiful. I ordered the white linen paper, and it was a perfect weight. The only disappointment was the envelopes - they are larger than the paper, as though someone would not fold it to send it. They are so large they require extra postage, so I will just be throwing them out. There’s no indication of their large size in the description. Better to just order the stationery, and get your own normal-sized envelopes. .

I found the design function on Zazzle easy to use and was pleased with the range of design choices for the stationary. The printing was crisp, clear and professional. The stationary looks as though it was created by a premium printing shop.
