Freight Motor #5 Centennial - Image on back shirt

Hagerstown & Frederick Railway Freight Motor #5 is turning 100! Share our love of #5 and support the H&F Railway Historical Society with this shirt commemorating the 100th anniversary of Frederick's custom built trolley! A vintage photograph of #5 traveling near Lewistown, Maryland has been colorized by the society for this occasion and is splashed across the back shaped with the outline of Frederick and Washington Counties in Maryland where #5 served. The H&F Railway's "Heart of Maryland Route" Logo and the H&FRHS name can be found on both the front and the back of the shirt. Freight Motor #5 was constructed in the Frederick Shop of the H&F Railway in 1920 and served as an express car and freight locomotive until retirement in 1955. Today the trolley can be found on display along Main Street in Thurmont, Maryland beside the route it once took daily.
