French Village Bakery Cloth Napkin

The flavor of France is captured in the original photograph by ZoeSPEAK on this Cloth Napkin. Taken in the town of Hourtin, in the wine country of the Medoc, the photo shows the village bakery in the afternoon sun. The shadow of an old fashioned street lamp stretches across the sidewalk onto the wall below the display window. Over the window is a striped awning with the words "PATISSERIE" AND "PAIN" ("pastry" and "bread"), and a bold red stripe across the cream colored building. An old circus poster and a placard for ice cream bars add color to the scene. Leafy green vines climb over the stone wall on the side of the shop, throwing their shadows across the walls. Part of a taller building in shadow, a walkway and blue sky complete the picture. The photo was taken in 2002. The napkins come in two sizes, dinner (shown) and cocktail.
