Friggitello Chili Pepper Placemat

A yellow-green friggitello chili pepper, also known as a Greek golden pepper or, in the US, pepperoncini when pickled, is decorated with patterns inspired by designs on ancient Greek amphorae and sits on a yellow background with a smaller version of the same pattern and a script label in the corner. This mild pepper was originally cultivated in Italy and is eaten throughout Europe and the United States.
