Ever been in Japan and suffered the embarrassment of having to decline a request to visit the church of some Kirishitan who has just spotted you on the street and assumes you must be a believer just because you require more SPF at the beach than they do? Well, wearing this it's unlikely you'll even be asked in the first place! Pictured is a fumie, a depiction of Jesus that suspected Christians had to step on in pre-Meiji Japan or else suffer the consequences, and which you, of course, would be entirely willing to stamp upon. The Japanese text says, "Yeah, I am a gaijin, but that doesn't mean I want to go worship at your church."
