Thomas Gainsborough (English) painted this beautiful portrait of Mrs. Grace Dalrymple Elliott (1754?–1823) in 1778 in London. Mrs. Grace Dalrymple Elliott was however Scottish and this painting was commissioned by her lover, the first marquis of Cholmondeley. Decked in gorgeous Georgian era fashion she us just stunning! And that hair!
