The galaxy girl is part of a series and was inspired by space and girls in dresses. I had a great time coming up with fantasy ideas for girls creating the colors in space as they traveled twirling and dancing through the universe. This one reminded me of a star bursting in space. I had to think carefully about how I could still make this concept work as a dress. I loved how the colors turned out. The original design was done as an acrylic painting. Perfect for blue and purple lovers.
