Gâteau Basque watercolor Kitchen Towel

I'm exceptionally pleased with how this turned out. I was expecting a rough linen-like tea towel but this is a nice soft towel (without being too bulky) - kind of slightly fleecey. The package arrived nearly a WEEK before it was estimated to deliver. The colors look great. The background did not come through as boldly as in the preview, which is a little unfortunate. I might have left it off or made it a different color since with it faded I'm afraid it might make the towel look a little used or dirty. It's probably not going to be an issue.

The towel I ordered was a totally different color & look from the placemats; placemats fabric appeared to be from the tail end of the fabric bolt- center pattern of placemat was’smeary’ looking. The towel was made from an unusual fabric- not towel quality .

My friend is a blonde and this could easily be her motto. This is the second product from this company that I bought. I love it and love what it represents. Who wouldn't? Stick in the muds, but you won't buy this for them. Excellent! Better than expected.
