Let me break down this incident ... sometime in April 2020, I approached California governor Gavin Newsom with my pet chihuahua. Though I was initially starstruck, I realized very quick that meeting my governor was not enough. I absolutely had to receive the highest honor from him... I had to have him pet my dog. When I politely requested pets for my beloved pooch, Gavin Newsom declined, looked disgusted and mumbled something about catching furry-transmitted SARS-Cov-2. Confused and disappointed, I have taken to the streets to voice the injustice I transpired. Are we going to allow our governor to be a conspiracy theorist liberal loon that despises dogs? No sir!
