Those of us who were born geeks know that there's not much we can do to change that! However, we can do a lot in terms of choosing our computing environment. Real geeks choose Linux for a variety of reasons, including: It's fun having total control over our computers; we prefer open source to mega-monopolies; we like getting our hands dirty in the innards of our OSes; and we don't like rebooting except when installing hardware!
