"Sun is One, Moon is Two." An old-timey method of generating the geomantic figures utilizes a small stone or coin with a sun on one side, and a moon on the other. The geomancer spins or flips the coin, and marks down one dot when the coin lands sun-side up, and two for moon-side up. Using multiple coins allows the reader to generate all four Mothers with one toss.
