National flag of Georgia The Georgian national flag is also known as the 'five cross flag', and features a red cross on a white background, surrounded by four smaller 'bolnur-katskhuri' crosses. The flag originated in medieval times, and came back into official use in 2004. It has a 2:3 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artifacts, and won't be printed.
