This rug has my small scale version of my "Curvy Plaid" / Girl Power border around sides of the frame surround.
The edge border, is a salmon pink, with an abstract folk art border design, inner border is gold, and then the center is an oxblood reddish brown.
It's called "Girl Power" Curvy Plaid, because of all the pinks, the curves, curly cues, spirals, dots, floral accents, and free roaming elements, set inside a plaid framework.
The colors are pinks, light pink background in the border, salmon pink, orange, strawberry pink, a coral / persimmon color, with darker periwinkle blue, oxblood and gold. Very feminine, a statement piece in any room!

I was pleasantly surprised with the clarity and level of detail as well as the sharpness of color. I was not sure what to expect with the texture of the rug and found it soft, easy to clean, and not losing any fuzz (which my woolen rugs all do). There were a few wrinkles in the fabric once I unrolled it and I was worried that they might not go away. The good news is that once it was flat on the ground and I vacuumed over it he wrinkles had vanished. The printing is really good. The details are sharp and clear and the colors are vibrant. I have always wanted a William Morris rug to go with my Mission style living room and this one is just beautiful! I can also say that having seen the quality first hand, I am pleased to offer the other rugs I have made in my Beatrix Potter Nursery and Kids Room Decor Collection, and feel confident in their quality.
