Glastonbury Tor - Gothic Avalon T-Shirt
Glastonbury Tor was truly a remarkable place to visit! I'm told the legends of that great hill in Somerset are numerous, but probably the most well known one is that this great hill is the mystical Avalon from the legends of King Arthur. Sure enough in times long past, the great tor used to be an island in a marshy landscape. This was before the farmer's drained the fields. The tower on the top, St. Michael's Tower, is of late medieval pedigree but unrelated to the Arthurian Legends. It's all that remains of a church that once stood there, but it creates a truly Gothic feeling looming there doesn't it?
Glastonbury Tor featured heavily in the opening ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympic opening ceremonies. It was also seen very briefly in the conclusion to the recent BBC series, Merlin.

My 11 yo wore adult XL (5’7” 165#). The 8yo is small framed. She wore adult small and tied it in the back. Dark haired male wore adult large and 5’9”, 110# female wore adult medium . Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
