Godwin Hewitt Art Nouveau Blue Majolica Repro Ceramic Tile

This soft blue art nouveau tile is reproduced from an 1890s molded majolica tile made by Godwin & Hewitt Tile Company in England. Available in 4.5 and 6 inch tiles as well as other items. Note that, although this tile looks like it is dimensional just like the original, this reproduction is actually flat, printed in a faux relief or trompe l'oeil ("fool the eye") style that captures the look of the raised detailing of the original on a smooth surfaced ceramic tile. Art Nouveau tiles are highly collectible and make great wall tiles and backsplashes for kitchen, bath, shower and laundry, and for fireplace surrounds, trivets, coasters, decorative accessories, and, of course, gifts (especially for gardeners!).
