Gouache Painted Floral Pattern Hallway Carpet Rug
Each flower I hand painted so the look of the work being more artistic and hand crafted would hopefully show in the final print. I then took a high resolution digital image of them and turned each floral piece into a repeating pattern which you see the end results here on this extra large long floor rug. Soft pastel pinks, apricot, peach, aqua, turquoise, lemon used throughout.
Add lots of soft pastel color that isn't permanent.
Especially apt for Bed Rooms, Art Studios, Offices, Kitchens, Lounge rooms, Hallways.
Long hallway runner rug. Ideas for Use - entranceway hallways to protect the floorboards/flooring. Use under chairs, use in living areas. lounge areas, walkways, doorways etc.

I was pleasantly surprised with the clarity and level of detail as well as the sharpness of color. I was not sure what to expect with the texture of the rug and found it soft, easy to clean, and not losing any fuzz (which my woolen rugs all do). There were a few wrinkles in the fabric once I unrolled it and I was worried that they might not go away. The good news is that once it was flat on the ground and I vacuumed over it he wrinkles had vanished. The printing is really good. The details are sharp and clear and the colors are vibrant. I have always wanted a William Morris rug to go with my Mission style living room and this one is just beautiful! I can also say that having seen the quality first hand, I am pleased to offer the other rugs I have made in my Beatrix Potter Nursery and Kids Room Decor Collection, and feel confident in their quality.
