Goya Witches’ Sabbath invitations. Oil painting on canvas from 1798. Spanish painter Francisco Goya frequently drew on occult and mystical themes within his work. Witches’ Sabbath is one of Goya’s most famous paintings due to its dark subject matter and sense of the macabre. A coven of witches sits gathered around the figure of the devil portrayed as a goat with tremendously large horns adorned with a laurel of oak leaves. A child is being consecrated to the goat while multiple skeletons can be seen in the background. Overhead a hoard of bats flits above an inverted crescent moon.

I am absolutely in love with the way my invites looks, the mom was unbelievably surprised and grateful. We were wary of sending off for a mail in shower, but step one was to personalize it... we started with these invitations. The printing was great; no errors... HOWEVER the writing on the back of the invitation turned out upside down... I’m a bit persnickety, so this bothered me.
The writing on the back appeared to be right-side-up on the preview, so this is something I’ll have to look into more carefully when using zazzleblack.
