Great Blue Heron Challenge Ceramic Tile

The Great Blue Heron in the original photograph on this small Ceramic Tile is showing his plumage, looking a bit like a porcupine, fluffing up his feathers to make himself look bigger, to tell another bird that it's his territory. In the photo we see the bird in profile, his gray blue coloring ending in a white head with deep blue bands on each side. His long yellow beak is pointing straight ahead as he walks forward with his long, curved neck tucked back against his body. The background of grasses is in muted earth tones with bits of green throughout.

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
