Great Blue Heron Foraging Teapot

The original photograph by ZoeSPEAK on this Porcelain Teapot shows a Great Blue Heron foraging for food along the banks of a canal. We see the bird as he lifts his foot and points his beak toward his prey, his S shaped neck and white head with its dark blue stripe poised to spring. The heron's body, with its bluish gray feathers, stands out against the dark brown wood of the dock. A reflection of a white boat on the water shows off the bird's thin, dark legs. In the foreground of the scene, tall grasses grow at the edge of the rippled water. The photo is repeated in reverse on the other side of the tea pot, so that the birds' beaks face each other in the center, where the text says "Tea for Two". The text can be changed or deleted if you prefer.
