Volcanic activity has been quiet since the 1500s, allowing for the development of an island now known for its beautiful iconic white cubic houses and coral color buildings and blue roofs (all colors coming from naturally occurring volcanic ashes and stones!), along with luscious flowering bushes and deep blue beaches at the foot of gorgeous green cliffs.
