Green Art Nouveau Alphonse Mucha Emerald Temptress Lapel Pin

This dangerously attractive lady personifies the Emerald from the series of decorative panels "Preicous Stones" (1900) - by the Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939), one of the greatest masters of Art Nouveau. She has the seductive and dangerous air of a femme fatale, green eyes with a penetrating gaze, a green serpent in her hair and her hands rest on the head of another, huge green serpent (only one of its eyes is visible here). In the background there is a green circular mosaic with serpents in the inner circle and green eyes in the outer one and an emerald in the center. The painting is in the public domain in the United States, the European Union and all countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 70 years or less.
