"Green Flash" at sunset in Ocean Shores, WA, photo Magnet

This magnet shows a photo of the elusive "Green Flash" from the "Beautiful Coastal Washington Ocean Sunset calendar. This calendar contains dramatic photos of Pacific Northwest Coast sunsets. Although the western skies over the Pacific Ocean are often gray and sodden, occasionally the sunsets are spectacular, exciting, dazzling displays of color and texture. Sometimes the sun peeks through a heavy cloud bank with a stunning burst of light. One can never predict if the western sky will be golden yellow, fiery orange, mauve, purple, or black. I make my way to our beautiful beaches in my home town of Ocean Shores, Washington, as often as I can to try to capture a few of these magical moments.
