Green Shamrock Saint Patrick's Day Floral Art Gold Finish Lapel Pin
Decorate your jacket with this lapel pin with a great Irish shamrock. The background is beige.
Although it is not clear what species the shamrock should be, the common wood sorrel or some type of clover, I chose the former. In this case the Oxalis acetosella. I think this plant looks much better than the common clover.
Tradition says that shamrock was used by Saint Patrick to teach the holy Trinity. But there is no proof of that. In any case, the shamrock became a potent symbol for Ireland. And of course I use greens for the coloring. The font is Celtic style.
The word seamróg is retrieved from the internet. So it must be right!

To do again, I would order the JEB Stuart in the small round style. That is just my personal preference. Also, I like the Forrest pin with the Confederate National Flag background since he fought in the army of Tennessee. However, I would prefer the Confederate Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia as the backdrop for the Stuart lapel pin ... as you well know, Stuart commanded the cavalry arm of the Army of Northern Virginia and fought under the Southern Cross or Cross of Saint Andrew. Karl Brauneis, Lander, Wyoming. Excellent - very clear and bold. +
