Ideally, you want to send out invitations 2-3 months before most events, such as birthdays. However, this isn’t always possible. If you can’t give that much notice, send them out as soon as all of the plans are confirmed. If you don’t need the envelopes, you may choose to not receive them by selecting the dropdown below "Envelopes" and choosing "None."
