Gustav Klimt - Orchard Ceramic Tile
Orchard / Field of Flowers, painted in 1907 in oil on canvas by Austrian Symbolist Gustav Klimt. Fruit trees rise from a meadow crowded with blossoms, while a high horizon gives most of the square canvas to grass, flowers and foliage. Klimt builds the landscape from innumerable touches of color, allowing the meadow to shimmer as a continuous decorative field. This approach belongs to the period when his Attersee landscapes brought Pointillist effects to their greatest intensity. The image is less concerned with a specific rural narrative than with the sensation of summer vegetation transformed into color, rhythm and pattern.

Ceramic Tile, 4.25" x 4.25"
From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
